Class Prayer - Written by Jenna B.

Dear God,

As we turn to the next page in our life story, we begin a new chapter;

a chapter of adventure, joy, open-mindedness and hope. A chapter in which

we start with a clean slate, at a new school in which, we can improve in all

areas. Please help us to become who we want to be and with the new chapter we are

about to endure.

Amen!

Class Poem - Written by Jake L.

We Are.....

We are small like hummingbirds, but as powerful as hawks.
We wonder where the path of life will lead us.
We hear our world suffering and want to help those in need.
We see people sinning without realizing it.
We want peace, love, and happiness for all.
We are small like hummingbirds, but as powerful as hawks.

We pretend to like war and violence, but they are truly savage doings.
We feel sorry for those who do not get a second chance.
We touch the lives of others with our actions and words.
We worry about the welfare of our families.
We cry for those in third world countries.
We are small like hummingbirds, but as powerful as hawks.

We understand the consequences of our actions.
We know that God is always with us.
We dream of being successful in high school.
We try to live to our fullest potentials.
We hope to make the best of our lives.
We are small like hummingbirds, but as powerful as hawks
